We are raising funds for our August 2017 project in Rio Camanibal, Guatemala where we will be donating two large library bookcases, 500 Spanish language books, 25 tablets, a RACHEL server and a PC to an elementary school there.

In nearby Chichicastenango, Guatemala, there is a vendor that sells these beautiful jade necklaces that feature one of the 20 signs of the Mayan calendar.  The sign is etched by machine for a clear and precise image that will stand the test of time.  The pendant is slightly larger than 1″ diameter and comes on a synthetic cord that is adjustable to fit all sizes, and will come packaged in a pouch made of traditional Guatemalan textiles.

Enter a birth date using a Mayan sign calculator such as this one to determine which sign to buy and then come back here to purchase one in support of our service project!  Yours for a $30 donation!  Simply go to the Donations page and enter a free-form donation ($30 times quantity wanted) and specify in the payment comments your delivery address and which sign(s) you want.

When we travel to Guatemala in August we will pick up all orders placed by June 15th and then deliver them within two days of our return home.  If your order requires shipping, we will ship to anywhere in the United States at no additional cost.

NOTE:  I believe that all 20 signs are available in round, oval or rectangular pieces of jade and that there is a choice of black or brown cord.  If you have a preference, please state it and we will try to oblige.  (See examples below the chart at the bottom of this page.)
